We decided to venture a bit further out on our second day and go to Padstow, a small town on the North coast of Cornwall. It was a lovely sunny day when we
were here and it was packed! We were lucky to get a parking space, every shop and street was heaving with people. Another day of mooching around shops joules, white stuff and also some small curiosity/antique shops which I really enjoyed.
Today was the day we all had our obligatory Cornish pasty, which I was more than ok with. We spent the rest of the afternoon looking in the art galleries and then sat in the sunshine having some family time which was nice (and doing a spot of people watching.)
We had dinner at The Old Custom House which served fresh seafood daily including lobster and crab, the perks of a fishing port! I really recommend this restaurant, the crab from there was delicious!
After that, we headed back to the chalet and sat outside and had a drink, a lovely way to end the day.
